Introducing: Chris Davis!
Meet Chris, our newest instructor who brings a fresh perspective to Rêve through his background as a professional actor and performer. Full of energy, attuned to great music, and focused on making his rides fun, fresh, and challenging, Chris is excited to hit the ground running. Join him tomorrow night for his first free community ride Friday at 5:30, then be on the lookout for him on the schedule! Welcome to the team, Chris!
Why did you decide to become a Rêve instructor and what are you most looking forward to about teaching? I got into cycling through my dad and brother and we do the Trek Across Maine every year. I came to Rêve to train in the winter and I immediately fell in love with the space. The sense of community with the instructors and the riders was great, and I wanted to be a contributor to that. I am most looking forward to discovering new music that can keep everyone's ride fresh.
Where can we find you when you’re not at the studio? I work for this really cool video agency/creative shop in Portland called p3, as a video producer. If I am not at work, I am probably rehearsing a play, surfing a wave or perusing craigslist for vintage furniture.
What’s one aspect of your class you think riders will especially enjoy? My energy and my un-scripted banter on the microphone. I love the mic!
Three songs you can’t stop listening to right now? War Paint by Fletcher Lucky Strike by Maroon5 When My Time Comes by Dawes
Anything else you’d like the Rêve community to know about you? Love potlucks.
